EJ,

Go for that sinecure, by all means. I see you passed up on the sincere.

A very adult choice. Fer sure. ;')

Thanks for the heads up, I just registered ElroyJetson100 to ElronJetson1100 as the first 99 were taken by you. I take it this will be like the DotCom boom. I'm planning on IPOing ElroyJetson100 in June, just before Google goes out. Frank Q is going to run the IPO from the library in his prison. (Can he allocate shares to other inmates instead of paying cash for protection?)

In seriousness, though, I note Buffett says he doesn't mind paying more in taxes. How about that for a little leadership (aside from the fact that at his age he doesn't need much more of his $50bn)? I think Buffett understands the crux of the problem and the overrepresentation in gov't of the rich, and how they continue to loot gov't for their own selfish interests. Imagine if the S&P 500 were all domiciled in Bermuda (the Philanthropic Berkshire would still be in the US, of course) and how that would impact the corporate tax base.
