You didn't read Hersh's story, did you? It's a lot more plausible than the "bad apple" theory, and it goes right to the top. Anybody who's read this thread for a while knows that Hersh is at the very least correct about the "Arab Mind" obsessions of the neocons.

You are perhaps being playful, but I think your also being disingenuous.(I had to look up the spelling and I know that W would not use this word, but I think it fits my meaning.) This is a very serious issue that cuts to the core of our American identity and "walking the walk" of being decent human beings. I think the 'rot' goes to the top and not to a few corporals. Myron

I liked your comments about the GHWB article from Esquire on another thread, which is very touching. I sent it on to a close friend who is very close to the whole Bush larger family.
