jay, of course you are right. however, with respect to the dollar rally, doesn't the size of the currency markets dwarf the size of the hedge fund industry? I understand why we've had this counter-trend rally, but it seems like it should be running out of gas (if it already hasn't). our trade and budget deficits aren't getting any smaller. there are a lot of foreigners holding our paper that s/b happy to sell it to short-covering hedge funds.
