Hitler staged a false terrorist attack, then used it as an excuse to embark on a journey of "preemptive attacks", genocide and torture. I'm sure, like you, the Nazis of the period considered it terrible that their kids were being killed in self defense by the citizens of countries their government had illegally invaded. You claim to like this country, but it is obvious you hate everything America stands for, not only morally, but legally as well. Whether you like it or not, the Constitution, which American insurgents and terrorists paid for in blood, is America. You are a foolish child, with the childish ideals of a fool. You don't have a clue that in order to protect your own rights, you have to stand up for the rights of your fellows. The moment you begin to rationalize taking away your neighbor's rights and freedom, you begin to lose your own. You put yourself not only at the mercy of whoever is in charge at the moment, whom you may agree with, but also at the mercy of whoever may be in charge at a later date, whom you may not agree with. Iraq is a wonderful example of what I'm talking about. Let's call the two main parties in Iraq Republicans and Democrats. They're only names anyhow, so what you call them really doesn't make any difference. Under Saddam Hussein, the Republicans did quite well. It didn't matter to them what happened to the Democrats since it was no skin off their noses. It was something that happened to someone else, which they were exempt from experiencing through being members of the Republican party. As the result of a military coup, the Democrats gained power, and all of a sudden the shoe was on the other foot. Since the system allowed for committing atrocities against the members of the party not in power, the Republicans found themselves being murdered and tortured at the whim of their new dictators. I realize you haven't reached the level of emotional maturity required to comprehend the moral implications of this little lesson. Like most fools you don't realize "It can't happen to me." is the rationalization of a child. The fact of the matter is that while you happily wave your flag of false patriotism, you are actually endorsing anti American views which boarder on treason. If you don't believe in the Constitution of the United States, which defines America, then I would suggest you go someplace else where your endorsements of fascism will be more welcome. As a side issue, you should also be aware that your science fiction notions of "suitcase nukes" do not exist. You appear to have come up with this notion as a result of false claims that some of the countries being illegally invaded were in possession of this technology, which is equally whimsical. A "small" nuclear device weighs in the neighborhood of 30,000 pounds. Building one in the basement, putting it in a suitcase, then sneaking it through customs would not be the work of a terrorist, it would be the work of a sorcerer.
