Moderates are our only hope: Kerry, McCain, Biden types, no more rightwing extremists nor old-style liberals. The liberals have been vanquished to the past anyway so now the problem is the reckless and dishonest rightwing extremists. You can call Kerry a "liberal" all you like but look at the policies. They're very much centrist. Not a single "liberal" policy. And unlike Bush, when Kerry says he's running from the center he will also govern from there. Kerry is a man of his word. Bush isn't.
