the title is LAs to lose at this point with the Spurs out and the East winner coming out of there mortally wounded after all the hand to hand combat<g>

The Lakers buy championships but they don't increase interest in the NBA.

The NCAA is the biggest thing in basketball BECAUSE everybody in the country can feel they have a shot.

Parity BUILDS ratings and interest, it doesn't detract.

Ask the NFL...
