I believe are on paid leave. Don't know if that equates to giving the students a choice whether ot view/listen or leave the classroom.

What angers the parents is that they weren't informed

My Ex kept a large Boa at school, and you should have seen the line of kids that wanted to watch him feed on live mice. She made sure none did without a note.
