Clinton presided over the greatest economic success story of any president. Give the guy some credit and quit trying to lay Bush's failures off on someone else. Bush is to be held accountable for his record, just as every president it.

Do the rightwingers give Jimmy Carter a pass just because Nixonites abandoned the Shah? Not a chance. Will the rightwing give Kerry a pass for the he'll have to go through to clean up the mess Bush leaves him? Not a chance.

CLinton made a very risky, unpopular move raising taxes in 1992 to balance the budget. That turned out to give us six straight years of an almost perfect economy. I say salute him. That is called success.
