I dont buy your solution but i have none of my own at present to this mess. Just to say WOT and be able to invade and nuke and draft wont succeed imo. But again i have no alternative view to offer.
I think we need a new team in any case. And Bush cant seem to understand this and Kerry's team we have yet to hear about. Mike

I speak these words reluctantly but view them as necessary to our survival as a nation. We cannot marginalize this threat.

Perhaps what is needed is a restatement of the threat. Some of us never saw a threat to our survival in the first place. Some of those who did may have become complacent or distracted. If there is really an existential threat here, perhaps now is the time to explain it anew.
