Allen, I guess that we can consider that good news. We must be negotiating a new contract with Matushita. They wouldn't be doing that if they won. We should finally start receiving royalties on hybrid cars using NiMH batteries. I don't like waiting 2 more months, but any negotiations must be thorough, as they will apply to a huge new auto market that is rapidly expanding.

It is reported that there are already 30,000 people wanting to buy the Ford hybrid Escape, and they haven't even seen it yet. They were planning on only building 20,000.

Guys; the irony is that Stan et al may be one of the few CEO's/teams who is prepared to meet the Japanese on their own turf......which is always characterized by "Defer any decisions which might cause a material change of status into the future as far as possible" Stan has played that game very well for a very long time, not being cynical, just the facts.

We are right at home with delays...put your feet up and enjoy the show.
