I totally agree with you about hurt feelings. We are at war for heaven's sake. War crimes, however, are still war crimes and need to be treated as such ... no matter who commits them.

Its tough on all of us to watch and deal with it. We have to maintain the nobility and honor that we have earned as a nation by always standing for "justice for all". Even when our enemies have a different standard.

I can accept unintended collateral damage of civilians and innocents when the enemy is hiding behind their skirts but that's about all. In this, campaign it is even tougher because the enemy isn't always recognizably different than the innocents.

I think we do a good job of notifying people ahead of time before going in on an attack. The civilians that remain put themselves in a position of either being the enemy or harboring the enemy.
