You're such a sucker. You believe everything the Israeli lobby tells you.

The death toll was 56 Palestinians

Correct. In Jenin, about 50 Palestinians were killed. At the same time, about 450 Palestinians were killed by Israeli invasions of other Palestinian towns. Now, here's the hard part:

50 + 450 = 500

The UN reported:

"A total of 497 Palestinians were killed in the course of the IDF reoccupation of Palestinian area A from 1 March to 7 May 2002 and in the immediate aftermath."

For many days after the massacre, Israel blocked the UN from entering, so there is no telling what else was covered up during that time.
