News Coverage as a Weapon

I am really getting bitter about the media. I wondered, over the weekend, "Is the western media a bigger enemy in our war against terrorism than the terrorists?"

No. But it seems that way at times.

no discussion of the press as a weapon of war is complete without noting how Palestinian advocates turned the image of the Israeli/Arab conflict from 5 million Jews against 300 million Arabs into one Palestinian boy with a rock against an Israeli tank, purely through selective reporting.
