I am going to cease and desist in posting for awhile i think after i view the last couple. I will let someone else come to my defense here. UW said i had given up on the WOT because i have been critical of DOD. You think i am advocating the UN should run things. Hell No. I am advocating competent government running stuff for the US. Kerry is going to win as things stand now. I offered him my support if he becomes my president. I also would suggest to GWB that prior to Kerry's election he can regain control of things if he wishes and not appear to be controlled by cheney/rummy/rove appeal to the base and criticism be damned philosophy. Time for Bush to lead and if not, time to get used to a new guy. I am under no illusions about kerry but think that circumstances will force him to govern from the center. The truth of the matter is that McCain is a personal hero of mine and he criticised kerry for his shenanigans at age 20 but now has a tremendous amount of respect for him and they share a geniune friendship based on common experience in the military and govt arenas. I wont ignore this fact either. mike
