Questioning the credibility & bias of the author is
relevant in my book. If the messenger has an established
history credibility problems, including liberal bias, it
certainly changes how I consider any story they write that
attacks conservatives.

And I'd do the same if it was a conservative with similar
problems who attacked liberals. I've learned that I can no
longer trust our media to give me the whole story
objectively, accurately or honestly. I've learned that
lies & distortion are now common, particularly when
politics are involved.

So, if the messenger has serious documented credibility
problems & he is also quite partisan, I will take that
into consideration.
