I gather you don't think Hersh's role in the My Lai revelations has anything to do with his reputation. Or Isikoff's digging in any number of stories including the Clinton stuff has anything to do with his reputation.

C2, this stuff is going to roll on for a while. As you might guess, I'm convinced it goes all the way to Rumsfeld and Bush and Cheney, etc. But whether all the public revelations eventually take it that far is hard to predict. But, for the moment, the Bush folk are well behind the PR portion of this story.

Hersh' reputation, which is sterling, is not a part of the debate.
