Emile, I find your views to be historically correct and certainly the media has formed much of our culture today, much to our chagrin. I understand what you are saying but don't you think that God, in his time will straighten us all out? I'm sure that we are seeing the working out of his will through world events and he will see that every knee will bend and every mouth will bless his name.

I certainly abhor what is going on in our world today but how can we have an affect when these things are far above our power to control?

James

So is He trying to provoke "the church" to jealousy?

Has God given "the church" a "spirit of slumber"?

Did He blind "the church's" eyes?

Has "the church" stumbled so salvation can come to "the nations"? (I thought "the church" considered themselves to be a part of "the nations")

If you say that God changed national Israel to "the church", then apparently, "the church" has "eyes not to be seeing and ears not to be hearing til this very day".

Are you sure Paul is not speaking of national Israel(ie the blood descendants of Abraham) in Romans 11?

The natural branch and the artificial branch.
