Michigan is a battleground state but Kerry will take it unless his entire campaign collapses which is not likely.
Don't expect Kerry to take any big chances or make any big mistakes. He's very focused on being strong, moderate and acceptable.

Bush's campaign has already collapsed and experts see no likely events which will save him. Certainly not Iraq nor the economy. Even if Bush creates another million jobs he will still have lost a million jobs and more than two million manufacturing jobs. He will also have amassed a huge-huge deficit of gargantuan proportions.

Interest rates and inflation are both rising now. That is a bucket of cold water on the Bush "recovery" and evgen the stock market. And BTW, Bush's great GDP "growth" includes debt spending and war spending. That's not a positive. GDP is not an accurate measure of true prosperity. Also it doesn't subtract for pollution or using up of resources.

"You really need to pull your head out of your Fox news."

I understand. As an antidote to Fox I watch some Dan Rather to offset the "throwing up" thingie. Or MSNBC.

CNN just bores me to six feet under. :•)
