The majority of Iraqi see us as occupiers and want us out.

The Iraqis want their own government, not a civil war. They know that a civil war is what they will get if we cut and run.

With all due respect Nadine, we need to be careful that we don't project our own views of reality on those who are living a different reality in Iraq. If they believe that a foreign power is ruling them unjustly and with heavy handed methods, they may well "want" to rid themselves of that oppressor and then deal with the aftermath, whatever it is.

We tend to deal with one problem at a time. The honey bee in the car sometimes causes the wreck that kills the driver.
