Same here. IMO, Hackworth often talks (or whines) too much. But this article was good and on point. There was no follow up to the evaluation of the Ryder team which suggested fixes to Abu. Karpinski didn't take the necessary actions prescribed by the team's report. Her bosses did not follow up to properly close out the evaluation. Now, everyone is paying attention. The likely result will be over reaction in how we handle prisoners.
