Hi - Just checking back in - it's relatively mild up here this winter (Albany Metro Area). I have been long, gradually reducing margin loans as the market goes up, but not actively trading. Now I have been doing a periodical check of the data and wondering what to do... using E-Wave, autoregressions etc. I am leaning to the last few days being a temporary sell off that might be almost over but not entirely sure. I am also thinking of getting into FXI - China ETF. Mainly I have focused on my academic work which has been going pretty well. I am now under review for tenure (economics). But I also put in some job applications at better places. Doubt much will happen. Much more likely to get tenure here. Will be a hassle to move until I get my green card anyway (still in process and now applying for an H1-B extension...). David
