I am so sick of the polarization. The hostility and bigotry and noise level and sheer destructiveness of it make my teeth hurt. Some people can't help it. They're too stupid or gullible to get past it. It's the ones who think it's a game that deserve a special place in hell, IMO.

And even those on the right like Lindsay Graham, Ralph Peters, and even John McCain are now viewed as kind of an enemy.

This reminds me of the issue of the moderate US muslims and their tolerance for Wahabism. We have to effect a break between the true believers and the solid citizens. We can't let the true believers control.

Unfortunately, I think it's going to take another event of the magnitude of 9/11 to make this truth sink in.
