15% is the old tax rate. The Bush tax cuts lowered the minimum tax rate to 10% from 15%. 15% is the lowest tax rate and is the same rate that people making 20 some thousand a year pay. I always knew the Kerry's were phonies when it came to paying taxes. Out of one side of the mouth they advocate very high taxes by the evil rich, while they pay nearly nothing as rich people themselves using every loophole they can find. If Kerry really felt that he wasn't being required to pay his fair share, they'd write a gift check to the treasury. But they don't. bankrate.com
