This guy, Mark LaPedus, has proved he is an idiot many times over, but this may be his best effort, yet. I didn't see any definition of "appropriate" capital spending which is the subject of this article. He does say that a "steep decline in IC ASPs since Q495" should lower the capital spending ratio from 22% to 20%. Simple me! I would guess that lower ASPs would result in lower revenues which would in turn result in a higher capital spending ratio.

If any younger minds see what mine is missing, please enlighten me.
