An unborn child is life, not a blob.

It is "life" in the same way that bacteria are life. Yet you kill them by millions each time you wash your hands with anti-bacterial soap.

Life begins at conception when the egg and the sperm creates a human person

All that is created there is a fertilized egg.

That fertilized egg is no more alive than the sperm you flush down the toilet by millions every time you masturbate.
