"Perhaps the downturn is done for the time being."

Yeah...Oil pricing and Iraq have had their impact for a bit one might hope! Downward trending oil prices and saner prevailing minds in Iraq over the next 3 months combined with a global economy that is just beginning to percolate may put in place the stage for a nice little summer rally!

With respect to AMD, management has executed flawlessly for 9 months running now as evidenced by the 30% revenue growth over that period versus INTC's 3% revenue growth over that same interval (as mentioned before, that interval does not include AMD's flash JV revenue spike in August)and has put in place, with its Opteron and MirrorBit products, the base for accelerating revenue/earnings growth going forward.

Not sure just when the "investment community" is going to climb aboard, but those new Opteron releases yesterday and the upcoming 939 parts which put additional distance between AMD and INTC might just provide any necessary additional push!

Very, very exciting times for AMD going forward!
