Yep. But it is a "barrack's religion." And the nicest Muslims, even if they are secular, will refuse to help authorities when it comes to radicals among them for fear of being killed at the worst, or ostracized at the least.

I really think we have our heads in the sand on this issue.

Just bought "The Trouble with Islam" by Irshad Manji. She is questioning the same thing that many of us are...WHERE are the moderate Muslims on the Danny Pearl and Nick Berg beheadings? Or on 9-11? Or on the USS Cole? etc etc etc.

If there are truly so few of the militant ones, how can the majority of the Muslims be afraid of them???? The Muslim population is quite a bit more than the entire population in the US.

Where are their voices?
