I live in an income tax free state.

The governor cut the taxes, but now all new roads, or roads that get major repairs are to be toll roads.

As a whole the people actually pay more because collecting tolls is a much less efficient way to raise revenue than the old scheme. There are individual winners and losers.

The ripple effects of this shortsighted thinking ultimately hit the state economy in a negative way.
