Did you read past the "barks" or did you stop there? I agree, it's an unfortunate choice of words. Nevertheless, I wouldn't call it a "hack job." The "rapture" Christians are not mainstream Christians, but beyond that, the beliefs cited don't represent even mainstream Evangelical thought. To the extent that religious beliefs, be they Christian or Muslim or Jewish, hinder peace in Israel/Palestine, I am opposed to religion calling the shots. That's my personal belief, yours may differ.
