The 3140VS is a particular configuration of the R3000z. There are a very large number of options, 4 processors, 4 hard drives, several optical drives, several screen resolutions, memory options, only a modem, 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11g with Bluetooth. There are even two different video controllers...

Nope. BTW for Acer it's partly the same: There top end Ferrari notebook isn't for sale here (but it seems to be in the US).
