You know, you brought up a GOOD POINT. that is, how many Iraqi children died of malnutrition, how many hospital patients died of lack of drugs ALL DUE to the UN and its cohorts STEALING the monies solely designed for THEM. WHERES THE OUTRAGE? JDN

While this thievery was going on the US was blamed by the Arabs for the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children because, they claimed, the UN embargo maintained by the US and Brits prevented the food and medicines for the children from reaching Iraq. In a doctors office I happened on a magazine called Arabica expousing the ME as a historic travelers paradise. Throughout the mag the story of the children's deaths was repeated ad nauseum by their travel writers. This in an American publication. The mag also stated if you want to visit Arab states, visit them first, for if you have an Israeli stamp on your passport you will not be allowed in the Arab states, or, by implication, something worse. We now know where the money went, to some extent, but I hear no apologies from the Arab street. Kofi Annan and his cohorts have a lot of explaining to do. No wonder they, the UN, France and Germany, were so obstructive in our attempt to negate Saddam.

Absolutely!!! The terrorists have us where they want us, bickering and back biting over a few college pranks, instead of focusing on the mission... we had better snap out of it before it's too late...
