I find it curious that we have had zero discussion of their identity.

I noticed that, too. That's an important, er, oversight.

How do we know that all the prisoners of Abu Ghraib fell under the Geneva Conventions?

I am repeating what the prosecutors said.

Prosecutor. Defense attorney. Trial judge. All there. American due process, about as good as it gets. I say "about as good as it gets" due to politeness. I think American due process is as good, most of the time, as the world has ever seen.

Even that statement is polite. Based on the people I've interacted with so far, American due process kicks ass.

If you have a problem, take it up with them.
