There does seem to be a tidal wave of Opteron support now mounting. AMD was talking about Opteron traction in q1. I'm thinking they'll be talking about the Opteron torrent in q2. Apparently SUN can't keep up with Opteron demand: investorshub.com and HP's no.'s last night intimate that Opteron has been and is being a huge success for them. Opteron performance enhancements on its already large price/performance advantages are now just making their way into the marketplace! I gotta believe that Opteron is now on the exponential portion of the growth curve and that q2 will, as a result, blow away analyst estimates once again. Let's not forget MirrorBit in this equation as Mr. Ruiz claims, and I'm thinking his claims are based upon growth patterns to date, that MirrorBit too is entering its explosive revenue stage! $1.3B in q2 revenues anyone? $100M in profit owing to increasing cpu and flash ASP's?
