Technically, both gold and gold shares are looking good at the moment. Talking very short-term, of course. I am not one of those who is endowed with vision into the hereafter.

Gold is still above its long-term support line on this weekly chart. (Join the large bottoms with your ruler and project) If it reverses up from here its long-term uptrend will still be intact.
