I read yesterday that Australia averages 1100 drinks per year per person. Nobody is ever sober, I guess.

My week in Sidney all the bars downtown closed at 2PM so people would go back to work from lunch.

King's Cross was different. They had rotating happy hour between bars beginning at 4pm (Ithink)...Happy hour there meant free drinks for one hour in that bar.
