Duke,

Are you smoking again? Basically, what the CEO of MSFT is saying is that outsourcing would slow down if U.S. based compensation was more in line with developing countries salaries. What a novel idea? How long did it take for him to come up with that? I guess the next class of MIT and Stanford grads are going to be lining up to work for MSFT. Also, as of today, MSFT is cutting about $80 million worth of medical benefits from their "innovative" employees. Sure, MSFT medical package was probably above industry standards but don't the employees who helped generate over $50 billion in cash deserve something extraordinary?

Lets see, MSFT management is taking money away from employees, has not distributed their cash hoard to shareholders but upper management is worth billions. Sounds like a formula for success.

Best Regards,
Alydar

Duke,

Take the articles for what you think they are worth.
Ballmer is right. No secret about that.

Now if I was looking for a job at Microsoft I might think twice.

Not sure Ballmer IS the right guy to be thundering this opinion. For obvious reasons.
