We won't really go after them then until we have been hit terribly. And probably several times.

We are really getting hurt because Europe is such a patsy for the terrorist big lie techniques. Without Europe, we could let the Arab world seethe without caring too much. I wonder what will happen if Europe gets hit several more times. Whom will they blame, Bush or the perpetrators? How will the BBC report it? The BBC reaction will be interesting, because the BBC has quite a lot of now dormant anti-terrorist genes from the bad old days of the IRA. They have never had any trouble calling it "terrorism" (without scare quotes) when the bomb goes off in London.
