He lived down the road when I moved here. We helped each other with home projects and did a lot of fishing together. He moved a few years back but we met most days at the coffee shop and went to breakfast about once a week.

They pulled the plug at 10am today. Next week I'll need to talk to his widow, he had thousands in tools, guns etc. that she'll have no idea of how to sell it all.
