Your post, Chinu, is prejudicial, in that you imply that the Iraqi version of events is correct, and that the US Military is lying. This certainly does not add value to the delicate situation in Iraq or on this thread.

BTW, the border area is very sensitive. I know a guy who was over there and he can relate numerous stories of fighters and weapons going back and forth, while trying to elude the military. Not surprising that a helicopter crew might take issue with muzzle flashes from the ground.
