Gordon, When did Russert become a public servant working for us? I thought he worked for a privately owned network.

Tim surely regrets this wild assertion.

I doubt it.
I have never seen Russert so sweet and gentle as when he is selling his book on TV, but cross this left wing SOB and all hell breaks loose.

HAAAAAAAAA....!!! That megalomaniacal ego-explosion wrapped in an over-stretched sausage skin, who constantly eppears to be pinching back a fart, (..in true Ted Koppout & Cackling Carville form..) thinks "..HE IS.." the 4th Estate - and the whole bloody cosmos revolves directly around his and Hairy BS Kerry's twin "..moons..".

How the Sam (Donaldson) hell The (W)itch is ever supposed to fit into that "..personal pride-fest.." is beyond me.......

John :-)

ps: Russert obviously works under the daily assumption that he can always quit on a self-defined 'win' - and immedaitely retire to being a consulting investigative journalist with the National Enquirer.
