Thanks for the links, it's really amazing when you think of where Germany was in say 1948 and where it is today.

Even though Germany is going through a bit of a trying time economically these days, they should be should be proud of their accomplishments, what they've built together and how far they've come as a society in such a short time.

I've visited Frankfurt a couple of times now and each time have been impressed with the cleaniness, service attitude and kindness the German people have extended me.

We'll be going to Octoberfest with some friends and staying in Garmicsh at the end of September for a few days of fun.
Looking forward to that. I hear the German people can throw down some beers with the best of them! We'll see whether they can hang with a brew maker from Seattle! :)
