I get your point now. That appearance was furthered by Russert's comments. I'm sure the question he was asking was key to his being upset. If he'd asked a less pointed question he may not have cared. Powell understood this perfectly and protested because he did. The idea that sometimes interviews are over is not news. How many times have we seen or heard "no more questions" from an aide as the interviewee walked away.

Emily's probably under a lot of pressure to make things run smoothly for Powell and he's probably busier than usual with the press.
