It looks to me like they are very very confused. I don't think. The Bush-administration, especially the neocons, hit the wall. They are licking there wounds and are really changing course. I like what I see so far, and I expect more positive surprises. On the other hand, to restore credibility the Bush-admin has a very, very, very, very long way to go. Closing the gap with their European enemies/allies like French, Russia and Germany, the UN and the G8 will be the easy part. Convincing the Arab world of their good intentions will be the hard part.
