I find it rather surprising that people in the U.S. even bother debating the justifications (excuses) for why someone was tortured, why Reuter's employees were humiliated and threatened, why groups of people are being shot to pieces or *accidentally* bombed..be they wedding parties, refugees, or for that matter allied forces bombed by inexperienced National Guard pilots. In truth, I really don't believe that anyone in the rest of the world even *cares* or wants to hear any more "justifications" for accidents or actions -- be they intentional or truly accidental -- be they the work of a few wayward idiots or at the direction of some rogue interrogation contractors, or even from some twit back in Washington. Do people in the U.S. honestly think that anyone in the rest of the world is even willing to listen to this stuff anymore? Sincerely, I don't think anyone gives a damn what excuses are offered up anymore. It's all gone too far. Nobody is listening anymore.

I have several times now. It was a response to your post in which YOU stated the ONLY ...CHOICE... was in the hands of the US military.

You were wrong.

Fault, blame and such is what you and your buddies do here. GWB is at fault and to blame for everything according to you. There is nothing more or less in the context of all your posts put together.

Well, that line of reasoning works if you live in an egg shell. Maybe that would be a better thread header for this site. The left wing extremist egg.

But out here in the real world things are a whole lot more complex. T'was not me who laid blame it was you. We may find out someday that there actually was some corruption that was at fault.

It may be that something else was going on besides a wedding. It may be that it was only a traditional wedding. It may be that some dumb skin head in the military just wanted some notches in his gun. It may be that the military followed standard procedure...we don't know.

However, at the time of the incident the only information available to soldiers in the battle zone was that there were AK-47s fired and their position was to return fire when under fire. At a minimum, misunderstandings occured. Far from blaming children and such ... I am extending the benefit of doubt to all sides.

Would I advise suspending the shooting of guns at weddings in this region???? Duh, yes. Does that violate something in your ethics? Probably only if you can spin it to advance your REAL agendas, if that even qualifies as ethics.
