That’s just a list of basic government services. You don't argue with the state providing funds for, say, child nutrition programs do you? Compared to the rest of the world taxes are already very low in the US. Of course in other parts of the world you have things like universal health coverage. It strikes me that Republicans are just fundamentally greedy. The rich take the most out of a society - they should pay their fair share. Its perfectly simplistic. Bush cut taxes - the deficit ballooned.
