Karen, when I take issue with some of your assertions, I generally quote you verbatim & in proper context. I ask serious, relevant questions & discuss why I disagree with a position you have taken. When appropriate I provide evidence to support my POV. This is all done in a straightforward fashion. They are not "strawman fallacies" or a "bombardment" on my part, or "incessant attacks over positions I <you> didn't take" in what you described as "that attack on me". Your perception that all of this occurred is incorrect. I do attack the message, not the messenger. FWIW, your incessant digs & snide remarks directed at the Bush Admin & myself, plus the occasional personal attack do not go unnoticed by me. Your anti-Bush bias often lacks a basis in reality. You also hold conservatives to rigid standards, while you frequently exhibit a bend over backwards generosity making excuses to defend liberals when they are clearly out of line. All of this however, does make it easier to point out your skewed world view & elitist attitude. If you wish for a different outcome, I suggest you revisit some of our recent exchanges while considering what I've stated in this post. Perhaps a different approach will make a world of difference.
