What about us non-bush supporters who think that arno's post was spot on?

Its not only Bush supporters who are uninformed.

I think that your point about evolution is important. There is a huge segment of the population who thinks that supporting entitlement attitudes, self flagellation and countrywide emasculation to the point of inability to protect ourselves, is evolution.

Have you ever really looked at our defense budget? Of all the major countries in the world, the US has the greatest %tage of its budget in defense. Now who do you think you're kidding about protecting ourselves? We have enough nukes to blow up this planet three times over.

Let's just say that my view is that it is impossible to evolve if you are dead.

Hmmmmmmmm............in the US, more people die in one year from car accidents than people have died from terrorists attacks in the last TWENTY years. Really.....who do you think you're kidding?

Paranoia is rampant among a certain segment of our population. Must have been to many horror flicks when they were kids. ;~))

And that's they way some of the people out there want us...regardless of whether or not we are liberal or conservative. Burying your head in the sand with a kinder gentler American facade doesn't make you any less repulsive to the people who made 9/11 happen.

Now no one said to bury their head in the sand. In fact, I am a proponent for USING our heads. So far, all I see Bush doing is stirring up a hornet's nest without any netting.

Stupid is as stupid does!
