I'd be the first to agree that the democrats, including Kerry, haven't done anything but propose to plead for lower energy prices.

Pathetic.

Higher prices are one way to lower demand. But that's sort of like shooting yourself in the stomach to diet. It hurts and it's distructive. High energy prices kill off businesses, push inflation, hurt the middle class and the poor.

Conservation is just "inconvenient" , and hardly much at that. It also has the effect of lowering pollution, less cancer for our families. Higher profit margins.

It's 1/2 of the reason we had such a great economy under Clinton. The other half being personal computers.

Still gonna vote against Bush. In fact I'm going to volunteer to get out the vote this September and November. I've never done that before. I'm a libertarian as you probably know.

But Bush is the worst ever. Has to go.
