Elmat for a man of the world you do have a lot to learn unless you are pulling my proverbial leg.. :o) More winters than not I can actually pick parsley and chard from my back garden slightly sheltered areas almost all year and a few seasons all year in the past 10... This isn't Maine or Minnesota you know ;o) -35 ... Torontonians cannot take that cold ...as it is virtually unknown to them... as in VERY RARE... :o) We had a bit this year I think and you should have heard te whining... Being from Montreal I don't notice these things LOL... Montreal or Ottawa well that's different but the summers can be brutally hot and humid there too and a lot longer than 2 weeks... two weeks every year? You likely have a 4 month window with maybe 3 being prime :o) Spots...
