"...the people on the left are kind."

I know thoughtful and considerate people on both sides of the political perspective... and probably an equal percentage. Just as equal are the corrupt. However, depending on the political climate of the day you may see more of one side speaking up than of the other.

Standing up is not required of anyone except in a situation where injustice is being perpetrated by brutal and cruel tyrants. Standing up is kind to the oppressed and brutalized victims of tyrants. Unfortunately the harsh reality here is, with us or against us.

To be kind to such tyrants has only three explanations I can think of. 1)Too weak to stand up for liberty and justice. But any good person can in their hearts (which is a form of standing up) oppose something that is so wrong, even if they don't have the strength to twitch an eyebrow or even if they are so oppressed as to be imprisoned, or in fear of torture. 2) Kindness because you wannabee their kind or one of their battered flock of weak victims (and their are people who choose victimhood). 3)Alterior motives of self serving agenda.
